MobideoSTO

What makes MobideoSTO unique?

MobideoSTO is the first holistic Digital STO Operating System to directly address the dynamic and complex nature of STOs and improve management of the key factors that determine STO success – scope, cost, schedule, quality, and EHS.

Learn More

Why are typical project management tools and techniques not suitable for STOs?

STOs are not like traditional projects. They need tools suited to high-VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex & Ambiguous) environments.

Learn More

What are the main factors that determine the success of STOs?

Control of evolving changes in scope and schedule; compliance to quality and EHS demands despite time constraints; and on-time completion within the planned budget.

Learn More

What does MobideoSTO’s holistic approach to STO management entail?

A unique combination of innovative technologies, extensive STO experience and best practices; integration with existing systems of record; and support of the unique challenges related to visibility, communication, change and collaboration.

Learn More

What are the pillars of the MobideoSTO Operating System?

The MobideoSTO Operating System is based on delivering a high-VUCA management environment; AI and automation-driven best practice; and improved STO readiness, predictability and learning.

Implementation

How long does it take to implement the Mobideo Platform and MobideoSTO?

A standard Proof of Value (POV) platform can be up and running in as little as 6 weeks.

What is required to get started?

Once a use case has been identified, a Customer Success Manager is assigned to work with your team. An initial workshop with key stakeholders enables us to define your project requirements, set trackable project goals and finalize deliverables.

What does the implementation process entail?

Once agreement has been reached on the requirements, the Mobideo Team begins configuring your solution using an agile implementation methodology. Quick and continuous reviews throughout the configuration phase ensure the delivery of the optimal solution that best addresses your requirements.

Does my IT department need to be involved in implementation of the Mobideo Platform?

Implementation of the Mobideo Platform is a simple and user-friendly process requiring minimal involvement from your IT department.

How much time must be invested by my internal team for the implementation phase?

Implementation of the Mobideo Platform includes a 2-day workshop with your team, followed by three short solution reviews.

What training is required to start working with the Mobideo Platform?

We train 2-3 managers in the use of the Mobideo Control Center in a 2-day training course for an in-depth understanding of our solution, and 2-3 super-users (usually IT personnel and content authors) in a 4-day course on the use of Mobideo Studio. Since the solution is very intuitive and user-friendly, workers using the Mobideo App to perform their work generally require up to 2 hours of training.

Who are typical users of the Mobideo App?

It depends on the use case. Typically, users of the Mobideo App are technicians, workers in the field, inspectors and even QA/QC supervisors.

Who are typical users of MobideoSTO?

Turnaround management teams, particularly planners, schedulers, managers, inspectors and decision makers.

Technical Issues

I’m already using Primavera P6 and SAP. How does the Mobideo Platform integrate with existing systems?

The Mobideo Platform includes robust connectors to both P6 and SAP. Depending on the use case and the level of involvement of planners and schedulers, Mobideo will deploy the solution that best fits your needs. This can range from frictionless integration via APIs to formatted templates that allow stakeholder reviews prior to data being pushed to the system of record.

What mobile devices are supported by the Mobideo App?

The Mobideo App runs a native application on iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices, as well as providing internet access via any web browser.

Who owns the data collected by the Mobideo Platform and is it secure?

All collected data belongs to the customer and is hosted on a private secured cloud, eliminating the risk of being seen or accessed by another company. Mobideo implements a security infrastructure similar to that used by the U.S. Federal Government to protect customer’s data.

Can I set up the Mobideo Platform myself?

The Mobideo Platform includes a patented elastic data model which makes it suitable and customizable for all industrial, field-centric use cases. It contains several configuration and management tools that allow customers to deploy solutions using their own resources.

IIoT

Is the Mobideo Platform suitable for the IIoT landscape?

To date, the focus of the IIoT revolution has been machine-centric, leaving workforces to continue in the analog world. The Mobideo Platform directly addresses this missing link by connecting workforces to the data and processes they need to be more effective.

Using the Mobideo Platform to combine operational information direct from source equipment with a connected workforce, companies can optimize the interactions between people, machines and processes, unleashing the true power of the Industrial IoT.

What infrastructure is required to implement an IIoT strategy with the Mobideo Platform?

If you have machines producing interpretable data regardless of source or type, the Mobideo Platform can integrate with your existing systems of record in order to digitalize, generate and assign field execution tasks in real-time. This allows connected workers to act and make repairs quicker and more effectively.

What are the benefits of using Mobideo with my existing IIoT infrastructure?

By connecting people and machines, the Mobideo Platform enables industrial companies to replace their outdated and resource-intensive “break-fix” operation models with more efficient “exception-based surveillance” models. This ensures that issues are identified sooner and resolved quicker, driving improved levels of operational excellence and increasing profitability.

Digitalization

Which industries use the Mobideo Platform to digitalize work execution processes?

Mobideo is digitalizing work execution processes across a wide range of asset-intensive industries, including oil and gas, aviation, chemicals, power, construction, and life-sciences.

Learn more

What’s the difference between digitizing and digitalizing work execution processes?

Digitizing is the process of converting data into digital form, such as turning printed documents into PDF files.
